DESIGN SERVICES
JMD provides a full complement of design services to enable our customers to take advantage of the integration capabilities of MLO. After submission of detailed final product specifications (size, RFIC data, embedded functions required, RF performance requirements, etc.), our design team will provide a complete package of layouts, simulated performance and projected manufacturing costs. Once an initial package design has been approved, JMD will provide prototype module substrates using our internal fabrication and supply chain partners in a format suitable for construction of first article module samples. Complete test and yield data will be supplied as part of the prototype kit. This cycle may be repeated following RF test data collection.
PRODUCTION SUBSTRATES
Following final acceptance of the substrate design, JMD will supply production quantity substrates in formats compatible with the leading module assembly and test suppliers such as Carsem, Amkor and Tong Hsing. Other formats can be supplied as required. Each substrate strip is 100% RF tested with all non-conforming sites clearly identified with standard marking.
TURNKEY MODULES
JMD can also supply turnkey FEM products for PA suppliers who need to outsource design, test and manufacturing of Wi-Fi and WiMax FEMs.
