Joseph Crupi joins Jacket Micro Devices board of directors

Atlanta, GA., July 12, 2006 - Jacket Micro Devices (JMD), Inc., the leading provider of RF modules for wireless applications, announced today that Joseph A. Crupi has been named to the JMD Board of Directors.

Mr. Crupi has had a distinguished career in the electronics and communications industry. Most recently, he was the Vice President, Broadband Communications Group at Texas Instruments and prior to this position he was Chief Executive Officer and President of Telogy Networks, Inc. At Telogy Networks, Mr. Crupi was responsible for the company's growth from its early venture capital phase to its subsequent acquisition by Texas Instruments in August, 2000 in a transaction valued at over $500 million. Mr. Crupi joined Telogy in 1996 after various roles at AT&T including Vice President of Global Business Multimedia Services. Mr. Crupi holds a MS in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a MS and BS from Polytechnic Institute of New York.
