JMD Receives Patent

Atlanta, GA., June 03, 2005 - Jacket Micro Devices, Inc., today announced that it's founders (George White, Sidharth Dalmia, Madhavan Swaminathan and Venky Sundaram) have been granted U.S. Patent No. 6,900,708 - "Integrated Passive Devices Fabricated Utilizing Multi-layer Organic Laminates". Jacket Micro Devices Inc., a technology leader in RF integrated passive components for the wireless industry, today announced that it's founders (George White, Sidharth Dalmia, Madhavan Swaminathan and Venky Sundaram) have been granted U.S. Patent No. 6,900,708 - "Integrated Passive Devices Fabricated Utilizing Multi-layer Organic Laminates". The patent (which Georgia Tech has exclusively licensed to JMD) represents pioneering work by JMD's founders in the development of advanced organic packaging technology for RF applications. "We are delighted that our efforts have been recognized with the award of this patent", said George White, JMD's CTO. "This is the culmination of years of work in advanced packaging technology while we were at Georgia Tech and an example of how innovative institutions are approaching commercialization of ground breaking technology".
